Having self-released two EP’s, Look Mexico has built a strong following in the southeast from the ground up. Searching for house shows, coffee shops, and other DIY venues, they found quick comradery with fellow Floridians, Fake Problems. Now selling out hometown shows, the Indie Rockers continued touring nationally in support of The Crucial EP, which had landed stellar reviews and a spot in AP’s “100 Bands to Know in 2007.” In July 2007, LUJO Records released This is Animal Music, Look Mexico’s debut full length. Since May, this four piece has not taken any breathers in promoting the album and has no plans in losing momentum throughout the remainder of ’07 and ’08. Roughly 2500 copies of This is Animal Music have already been sold, including 700+ records in Japan. Look Mexico is scheduled to enter the studio late Spring/early Summer with legendary J. Robbins to work on a sophomore release.
