CMJ
Hailing from Florida, Look Mexico is what I personally have been looking for in today’s music—something other than a 15 minute band. To get a feel of who these guys are, they fuse a Minus The Bear sound with an Explosions in the Sky stage performance and have as much fun on stage and off as early Blink 182. “Pretty much we got together to fight evil,” the band said. “We got a super car and a couple super swords and we kill goblins and crap with it.”
What’s more is that they even design their own t-shirts which by the way are some of the best band tees that I’ve ever seen. They’ve played three CMJ showcases this week and are heading off to continue their tour of the southeast.
